Who can apply?
Core eligibility
- Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognized university (or appearing in final year).
- Upper age limit: 30 years (General) / 32 years (others) as on 01-01-2026.
- Candidates who appeared in CSE Mains 2024 / 2025 are given preference.
You're not eligible if
- You've already used the JHRCA-JHU hostel for 3 years (cumulative since 2021).
- Your admission was previously cancelled in the last 6 years.
Two merit lists are drawn separately for Merit (50 seats) and SFS (15 seats).

Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a candidate withdraws after taking admission, the following deductions apply (in addition to security-deposit forfeiture):
- Within 30 days of admission β security deposit forfeited.
- Within 60 days β security deposit forfeited + βΉ10,000 deducted.
- Within 90 days β security deposit forfeited + βΉ25,000 deducted.
- Within 120 days β security deposit forfeited + βΉ35,000 deducted.
