• Bachelor's degree from a UGC-recognized university (or appearing in final year).
• Upper age limit: 30 years (General) / 32 years (others) as on 01-01-2026.
• Candidates who appeared in CSE Mains 2024 or 2025 are given preference.

You're not eligible if you've used the JHRCA-JHU hostel for 3 years (since 2021), or if your admission was cancelled in the last 6 years.

The application fee is ₹1,500 (one-time, non-refundable). It's paid online via Razorpay during this application.

Subsequent fees (admission, monthly, security) are paid only after you clear the entrance test and interview, between 20–24 July 2026.

Both categories follow the same programme — same classes, same library, same hostel.

• Merit (50 seats): ₹5,000/month all-inclusive. Up to 50% fee remission for indigent families.
• Self-Financing / SFS (15 seats): ₹15,000/month all-inclusive.

Two separate merit lists are drawn. You pick a preference at submission.

Two papers, both objective MCQs, both at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi:

• Paper I — General Studies: 100 MCQs · 2 hours · 200 marks · 1/3 negative marking
• Paper II — CSAT: 80 MCQs · 2 hours · 200 marks · 1/3 negative marking

Qualifiers are called for a Personal Interview (max 50 marks).

Required:

• Recent passport-size photograph (JPG/PNG, max 2 MB)
• Signature on white paper (JPG/PNG, max 2 MB)
• Student's Aadhaar — front + back (PDF/JPG/PNG, max 5 MB each)
• One parent's Aadhaar — front + back
• 10th, 12th and Graduation marksheets (final or provisional)

Optional / conditional:

• Post Graduation marksheet (if applicable)
• UPSC / State PCS qualified result
• Caste certificate (only for SC / ST / OBC / EWS)
• Income certificate (only if claiming fee remission)

You're eligible. On Step 4 (Education), fill what's known and use "Awaited 2026" or similar for the year. Upload the most recent provisional / semester marksheet.

You'll need to produce the final marksheet at the documentation stage (20–24 July 2026).

OTPs are sent via SMS to your mobile number. Try:

• Wait up to 60 seconds and click Resend OTP
• Confirm your number is correct (10 digits, no country code)
• Check your SMS spam folder
• Make sure DND is off, or temporarily switch to "Promotional" delivery

Up until you click "Submit & Proceed to Pay", you can freely edit any step — your data autosaves locally and on the server.

The ₹1,500 application fee is non-refundable. After admission, if a candidate withdraws:

• Within 30 days of admission: security deposit forfeited.
• Within 60 days: security deposit forfeited + ₹10,000 deducted.
• Within 90 days: security deposit forfeited + ₹25,000 deducted.
• Within 120 days: security deposit forfeited + ₹35,000 deducted.
